I’m looking forward to connecting with the new Vols and helping them adjust to college life at UTK! am looking forward to being a friend
What is your advice for First-Year Students?
Don’t procrastinate. Sure, it’s easier said than done, but you’ll be thanking yourself later when you aren’t having to cram right before an exam or rush through an essay at the last minute.
What is your favorite annual event that happens on campus and why?
Hike the Hill in Heels. It’s a great event to raise awareness about a very serious topic.
Describe the color orange:
Orange is unifying. It’s how we recognize fellow Vols, whether we’re here in Knoxville or out of the country. You see THAT shade of orange, and you just know. No matter who we are or where we come from, when we’re wearing orange, we are all VOLS!
Where would you spend your last five dollars on the strip?
Cookout, without a doubt.
Best dining location on campus?
The Student Union. You have so many good options, and it’s such a great place to meet up and eat with friends.
Would you rather take a picture with live smokey or the costumed smokey mascot?
Pro tip for surviving your first year at UT?
Stay on top of your work but make sure to give yourself time to breathe, relax, and decompress. Stressing too much will actually make you less productive.

Hodges Library. I’m such a bookworm.
