Describe the university of Tennessee in one word: Opportunity
What excites you the most about being a Peer Mentor? I can't wait to make connections with all of the students that I'll be mentoring!
Why do you think FYS 101 courses are important? FYS is such a good way to make connections with people in a smaller environment that isn't intimidating. It also gives you an older student to look to for anything that you might need!
What is your favorite activity to do in Knoxville? I love to go out to market square and eat with friends!
What is your go-to snack food? Apple and Peanut Butter
Give your best piece of advice for first-year students: My best piece of advice to first year students would be to not be scared to go out of your comfort zone and say yes to things that you aren't quite sure of! Definitely don't over commit yourself, but some of the best experiences you will have will come from things that you weren't even sure that you wanted to do!
