What excites you the most about being a Peer Mentor? Definitely being able to connect with people who are going through the same struggles I went through and being able to help them.
Why do you think FYS 101 courses are important? FYS 101 classes are important because they act as a constant resource and buffer to first year students and they make freshman year seem a lot less impossible.
What is your favorite activity to do in Knoxville? I love going to events that are held in the Old City or Market Square like the Farmer’s Market. I also love going to Pelican’s Snoballs:)
What is your go-to snack food? Rice crispy treats
Give your best piece of advice for first-year students: Don’t be afraid to ask questions and use your professors’ office hours!
