What excites you the most about being a Peer Mentor? The thing that makes me most excited about being a peer mentor is the potential positive impact that I can have on the incoming freshman students.

Why do you think FYS 101 courses are important? I think it helps ease students into the college setting, and sets you up with someone that can act as a guiding light because they themselves have already undergone the freshman experience.

What is your favorite activity to do in Knoxville? I'm an adventure seeker so anything outdoorsy or consists of exploring this beautiful city especially with friends is my favorite activity.

What is your go-to snack food? Yogurt covered pretzels

Give your best piece of advice for first-year students: Try to get as involved as you possibly can and try to get out of your comfort zone in terms of meeting new people.
