Describe the university of Tennessee in one word: Stability
What excites you the most about being a Peer Mentor? I'll be working with a Transition to Rocky Top class, and I look forward to smoothing out the transfer process for these scholars. I know what transfer-shock feels like and I'm ready to kick its butt.
Why do you think FYS 101 courses are important? FYS 101 and TRNS 201 are designed to help scholars find their balance in a new, potentially overwhelming place. When you feel more comfortable with the university, you have a much better chance of success.
What is your favorite activity to do in Knoxville? I love to hike, and there are endless places to do that, here, in Knoxville. You want caves? We've got 'em. Wanna get lost in the forest? Easy. How about waterfalls? Look no further.
What is your go-to snack food? I'm always down for a peanut butter Perfect Bar. Find them in the refrigerator section at your local Aldi (this answer is not sponsored by Aldi).
Give your best piece of advice for first-year students: Don't be afraid to ask for help.
