What excites you the most about being a Peer Mentor? Being able to not only help students, but also learn more about myself as a mentor and leader.
Why do you think FYS 101 courses are important? Without these courses, a lot of resources can be ignored or completely neglected, leaving first-year students to feel lost and not know where to turn.
What is your favorite activity to do in Knoxville? I love hiking at ijams and spending time with my friends riding around listening to music:)
What is your go-to snack food? Original Goldfish. Can't beat it.
Give your best piece of advice for first-year students: Don't be afraid to ask for help. I know everyone says that and that it can be really, really hard. But if you don't ask that question, ask for that advice, or ask for clarity, you'll find yourself wondering what could have or should have happened. But even if you don't ask for help, give yourself grace. We are all doing our best and that's the best that we can do.
