What excites you the most about being a Peer Mentor? Meeting first year students and being a part of their experience at UT.
Why do you think FYS 101 courses are important? There are a lot of things that we teach in FYS that many students who don’t take the class don’t know about. This university is so big that it’s easy to get lost in the resources, opportunities, and events students can get.
What is your favorite activity to do in Knoxville? Go downtown!
What is your go-to snack food? Chocolate covered pretzels!
Give your best piece of advice for first-year students: Go at your own pace! It’s important to be inVOLved but it’s also okay to not join every organization your first semester.
