This course provides men of color with the opportunity to become part of an enriching and supportive learning environment from their first day as a Volunteer. At the core of this first-year seminar, students will engage in discussions and activities about identity and how it affects men of color. This course seeks to assist in the men of color transition to the University by focusing on self-awareness, campus resources, career exploration, academic skill-building, and additional topics that foster student success such as time management and goal setting.
